At the heart of MG Decree LLC is a dynamic husband-and-wife team, Geneva and Marcus Ashley, united by faith, purpose, and a shared commitment to helping others thrive. Their journey is more than just a partnership in business—it’s a testament to the power of faith in action, resilience through life’s challenges, and the impact of serving others with integrity and compassion.
Geneva D. Ashley
Geneva D. Ashley, formerly Geneva D. Holmes, hails from the northern California Bay Area with roots in Louisiana.
She is the firstborn granddaughter of Pastor Henry Holmes, III, and Ruth Holmes.
Cut from an intricate cloth in ministry, humble and gifted, Geneva was very shy and introverted, yet her parents noticed she thrived most when in environments that allowed her to help others. As a violinist, writer, and artist, she embraced the multi-faceted assignment she was created to fulfill.
Now, Geneva is a domestic violence VICTOR with a ministry of many folds. As a wife, mom, best-selling author, keynote speaker, life strategist, and ordained servant leader, in addition to being the co-president of MG Decree LLC alongside her husband, she is an avid philanthropist. In these roles, she continuously and unapologetically strives to uplift, empower, and encourage women from all walks of life while connecting her heart and hands with the masses as God sees fit, employing a judgment-free approach!
In 2023, the Lord called Geneva and her husband to launch WIFE Support LIFE Support. Wife Support Life Support is a multi-faceted event platform, tour, and literature, which is a two-fold ministry for wives, husbands, and those seeking to prepare for marriage.
A woman of many accomplishments, Geneva remains humbly grounded, stating in her own words: “I’m just G" without apology", grateful and gifted to be used of God so mightily!”
marcus m. ashley
Marcus M. Ashley is a native of Richmond, California, where he grew up under the influence of his Grandfather, Lloyd Hills, who served as a true example of what a man was supposed to be. Marcus admired his grandfather's strengths, sense of direction, and seemingly infinite knowledge of how to navigate a multitude of situations in life, thus taking many cues from him.
The famous words of his grandfather, “Son, you need to pay attention, one day you will have the same responsibilities: A wife, children, and a household”, resonate with Marcus to this very day.
Marcus has been married to his wife, Geneva D. Ashley, for several years and counting. Many affectionately refer to them as the “A-Team”. Known to be a power couple in ministry and business, they strive to keep God first in all that they do.
No stranger to ministry, Marcus has always had a heart to serve, and in 2023, the Lord called Marcus and his Wife to plant Word Reflections Ministries, a non-denominational church they Co-Pastor in the Dallas Metroplex region.
Marcus has found purpose and passion in doing the hard work that marriage requires to not only sustain a healthy marriage but to ensure longevity in the modern day, and has recently penned a power-packed literary project entitled “Lessons Learned: A Husband’s Guide to Growing in Marriage,” which is scheduled to release soon.
